on the Web-page of the Everts family in Deventer, the Netherlands
Evert en Rina Everts were born nearby Hoogeveen, and grew up in the Drentse rural area. In 1991 they settled in Ulrum, in the North of Groningen. During ten years Evert was pastor of the Chr.Geref. Kerk of Ulrum, in combination with the church in Lutjegast. In this period their five children were born: Evert, Gesine, Gerieke, Erwin en Jarnold.
In November 2000 Evert and Rina Everts were appointed by the Missionboard of the Free Reformed Church in North America as missionaries for Guatemala. Officially they were in service for Buitenlandse Zending van de Christelijke Gereformeerde Kerken in Nederland and are lend out to the FRCNA for their missionwork.

Since April 9th, 2008 the Everts-family is back on dutch soil. The children went to school and dad went out preaching on Sundays. After accepting a calling of the Chr. Geref. Kerk of Deventer they moved in Oktober to Schalkhaar.
